On 18^th September 2025 at Nazareth House, Christchurch, supported by staff, her Mercy Community, and family; aged 98 years.

Dearly loved member of Nga Whaea Atawhai O Aotearoa, Sisters of Mercy New Zealand. 75 years professed as a sister.

Dearly loved daughter of the late Elizabeth and Joseph, loved sister of the late Jack and Joan, Ursula and Bill Mitchell, Valerie and Colin Pearson, Kevin and Beverley, Tessa and Jack Ryan, Cecily and Mick Bryant, Suzanne and Maurice McKinley; loved Aunt of all her nieces and nephews and extended families.

Special thanks to Nazareth House staff and Mercy carers.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Gregory’s Catholic Church, Cotswold Ave on Tuesday, 30^th September at 11.00am followed by interment at Waimairi Cemetery, Grahams Road.  Vigil Prayers on Monday 29^th September at 7.00pm at Te Manawa Atawhai Catherine McAuley Centre, Villa Maria, 21 Peer Street.
