MASSON Peter David

Born in Christchurch on 23 August 1959, passed away peacefully on 12 September 2025 at Cashmere View Hospital. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Penny Bradley, and her husband David, and Josephine Reid, as well as his brother John and John’s wife Trish, along with all his nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by his niece Antonia McAtamney, with whom he was very close and who assisted him with many aspects of his life, and by his cousin Christopher Masson, whom Peter dearly loved. He will also be deeply missed by his many friends, especially Jonathan Russell, who cared for him so lovingly in his final years. Peter was known for his quick wit, eccentric charm, and mischievous sense of humour, which brought joy to everyone around him. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Pam and the team at Cashmere View for their outstanding care, respect, and compassion.
