HILL Sandra Margaret “Sandy”:

Sadly, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, September 19, 2025, aged 71 years. Loved wife of Derek Rid, loving mum of Greig and Briony, Karen and Sam, grandmother of Nadia, and Billy, loved sister of Jenny and Bryan, Bruce and Brenda, stepmother of Andrew and Amy Rid.

A special thank you to the staff at Christchurch Hospital and Bupa Parklands, for their care and compassion, and the love they have shown to Sandy. Sandy loved bright colours, at her request please wear colourful clothing. A service to celebrate Sandy’s life will be held at the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Monday, September 29, at 1:00PM.
