On September 22, 2025, peacefully at Banbury Park Care Centre, aged 93 years.

Loved husband of the late Fleur Mair. Much loved father of Mike, Marney, the late Greg, and the late Jacque, and stepfather of Hamish. Loved Grandad of Michaela, Marcus, Amanda, Jacque, and Jasmine. Loved brother of Tony, Priscilla, the late Mary, and the late Virginia, and cherished uncle of his nieces and nephews.

Rest in Peace.

A service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held at the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, at 1:00pm on Thursday, 2nd October. Mike will then be taken to Hakataramea Cemetery for a graveside committal at 1:00pm on Friday, 3rd October.
